Pink-4-Ever

Pink-4-Ever works to eliminate breast cancer disparities for black women  through advocacy, education, research, and empowerment.

Demographic Served: Marion County

Services: Services include scheduling and receiving a free mammogram, education on risk and diagnosis, patient assitance fund (The Nadine Whitlock Hayes Legacy Fund Assistance), and funding research.

Touch Inc.

Touch Inc.’s mission is to impact the lives of cancer patients through non-medical assistance. This organization helps all forms of cancer and will help any patients that meet their financial criteria outlined on their “Who We Can Help” page.

Demographic Served: Patients from Vanderburgh and Warrick counties

Services: They provide non-medical financial assistance to any individual that qualifies under their eligibility criteria. Financial assistance can include everyday expenses such as transportation, utilities, childcare, housing mortgage or rent payments, and any other out of pocket expenses that are impacted by a cancer diagnosis.

Megan S. Ott Foundation

Founded by Megan Ott before her passing, the Megan S. Ott Foundation provides immediate personalized assistance to local recipients fighting the day-to-day battle of breast cancer.

Demographic Served: Patients from Community Health Network/Community Breast Care in Indianapolis and Riverview Health in Noblesville.

Services: Assistance with utility bills, medical bills, mortgage/rent, family needs like back-to-school supplies, prescription drugs, meals, vacations/weekend getaways, spa day, gift cards, and more. Grants are individualized to meet the family’s needs and support those with breast cancer during their time of need.

Pink Ribbon Society

A non-profit organization that funds local breast health programs and organizations to increase healthcare access, quality of life, and survivorship for those with a breast cancer diagnosis. 

Demographic Served: Patients in Lake, Porter, Jasper, and Newton counties

Services: Pink Ribbon Society acts as a resource navigator for the programs that they fund. You can utilize their program page on their website to see additional resources.

Little Red Door

Little Red Door offers services for cancer patients, resources for those in need, and information on cancer prevention.

Demographic Served: Central Indiana

Services: Resource navigation, educational support, appearance related help, transportation, and survivorship programs.

Additional services include medical supplies, partner resources, nutritional supplements, incontinence supplies, ostomy supplies, and lymphedema garments.

Tricia’s Hope

A non-profit operated entirely by volunteers that serves Hoosiers statewide. Their mission is to provide emotional and financial support to cancer patients in treatment.

Services: Offers financial assistance for expenses that are not covered by insurance including housing, utilities, transportation, and childcare.

Kesem (Camp Kesem)

A cancer support community for children learning to cope with a parent being diagnosed with cancer or from losing a parent with cancer.

Demographic Served: Statewide Organization

Services: A free, week-long overnight summer camp experience for children ages 6-18 who are impacted by a parent’s cancer diagnosis. Year-round services include support services that are customized and personal to your child’s needs. Warm welcome packages, special deliveries for children such as birthday cards, and friends and family days to bring children together.

Pink Ribbon Connection

Provides emotional support, local resources, and education to those touched by breast cancer across Indiana.

Services: Offers peer counseling helpline and informational gatherings. Provides free wigs, prostheses, bras, hats, turbans, newsletters, and more.

Cancer Support Community Indiana

Exists so no one faces cancer alone. They offer services that will improve patient’s quality of life during care and into recovery.

Services: Individual counseling, emotional support, support groups, education, wellness, social connections, referrals, information, assistance, and programs avaiable in Spanish.

Sisters Network Inc.

A national African American breast cancer survivorship organization. Provides financial assistance to breast cancer survivors in active treatment.

Services: They provide up to $300 in financial assistance when available for utility, rent, or mortgage expenses. They offer support groups, provide a sense of community, and help with resource navigation.

The Pink Fund provides financial support to help meet basic needs when you meet their criteria.

Cancer Hope Network provides free one-on-one peer support for adult cancer patients and their loved ones.

Family Reach

Family Reach is a non-profit organization that provides financial aid to any individual diagnosed with cancer and receiving care in a US based hospital. Their mission is to remove any financial barriers standing between cancer patients and their treatment.

Services: Services include financial education, resource navigation, financial coaching, and an emergency relief fund. The Financial Treatment Program is available to people and families facing pediatric, young adult, or adult cancer diagnoses.

This organization provides free home cleaning to patients diagnosed with any form of cancer. They partner with residential cleaning companies across the United States.
