Are you passionate about making a difference in the fight against breast cancer? Do you have skills, experience, and a heart for helping others? The Indiana Women in Need Foundation (IWIN) is seeking dedicated and dynamic individuals to join our Board of Directors!

ABOUT US

IWIN supports individuals statewide receiving treatment for breast cancer by relieving emotional, physical, and financial burdens with a one-time grant. Since 2000, IWIN has supported more than 8,000 Hoosiers with $3.2 million in services. In 2025, IWIN will celebrate our golden birthday and are looking to gather the best BOD possible!

WHY JOIN?

• Make an Impact: Your work affects an existing community of Hoosiers in need and provides relief at a crucial time during breast cancer treatment. Next year, IWIN will celebrate 25 years so you’ll make great impact on our most epic year yet.
• Leverage Your Skills: Use your professional background to drive strategic initiatives and support our cause.
• Engage in Your Community: Collaborate with passionate leaders, advocates, patients, supporters and more in the breast cancer community.
• Personal Fulfillment: Contribute to a cause that changes lives and offers hope to countless individuals and families.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Commitment: A genuine passion for what IWIN does and a willingness to dedicate time and energy. The BOD meets virtually on the second Monday of the month, every other month (Jan., Mar., May, July, Sept, Nov.). Must live in Indiana.
• Skills and Expertise: Experience in areas such as finance, fundraising, marketing, healthcare or nonprofit management is highly valued.
• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with fellow board members and our dedicated staff.
• Advocacy: A strong desire to advocate for Hoosier breast cancer patients and support IWIN’s mission
• Financial Commitment: $100 direct contribution (cash/check), $400 in "give or get" meaning you can contribute the $400 yourself, or obtain $400 in sponsorship or silent auction items
